  PRE-STAINING

  We only use Turtle Shell Pro Cedar as it allows us to assemble gates knowing that each individual piece of lumber is 100% protected with an oil based stain.

  Our competitors offer “pre-stained” gates that are lightly sprayed after assembly which does not allow for full protection so when shrinkage occurs in warm weather the heavy UV rays will eat away at the unprotected areas.

  “PRE-STAINED” = 1/4 PROTECTION

  WHAT IS TURTLE SHELL PRO CEDAR?

  It’s a premium cedar product that is processed through a rigorous stain treatment system that allows the lumber to absorb the most amount of stain on all 6 sides of the wood therefore giving the pre-stained lumber added years of protection against rot and weathering. We believe Turtle Shell Pro Cedar is the only cedar product to be used when building a fence either within a pre-fabricated fence panel or a hand built fence on site.
